It's not just Cyrodiil that is unplayable, even exploring and fighting across all of Tamriel has momentary delays causing sync problems regarding player action vs animation delay.
In Cyrodiil launching ballistas the whole session eventually locks up and some animations do not even draw. It progressively gets worse in a battle until most of game freezes all sound disappears then a black screen and back to the beige coloured sign in menu.
Also there are now huge groups of all three dominions in battle as at Jan 2017.
I was in battle a few days ago and I would say around 100 players of each dominion in action, maybe more. The whole session crashed for me. The server simply could not keep up, so much going on with all the mage graphics, explosions etc.
ZOS need to limit the amount of players with multiple instances available to choose from.
This needs addressing, start spending some decent money on more servers!

Confirmed.
I am totally fed up with this. It has just got worse as the years have gone by with ESO PVP is a state. Because of this I have left ESO and gone onto games I can actually trust, and enjoy. I will come back, if the servers are improved. So much money has gone into this game and this is what we get. Unacceptable.

What are you currently playing? I'm ready to move on too...
It's a shame. But I'm kind of bored not being able to play really challenging content because of *** lag. Dungeons are a cake walk even with the bugs. PVP I can one shot gank or potato tank/heal fine through lag. But these all get boring for a competitive player looking for a challenge.
Unfortunately, any competitive open world PVP or HM trials are out of reach not because I'm incapable, but simply because I'll end up watching a slide show, or get blue screened out of my app.
I have a feeling that when update 13 changes go live, we'll probably see another mass exodus.
Zos had the world in their hands, and they've dropped it.

With all due respect to Brian Wheeler but my post was regarding the EU PS4 server issue and you posted regarding North American for 2 days!
The issue I stated is that the EU server is useless all over Christmas and continuing but to be honest I really don't expect an honest reply as companies these days cannot accept defeat or admit they are ever wrong. Its their work, their job but we test it. Also most gaming companies I question the staff ablitily to actually read posts because I always get an answer that seems to be from someone elses post.
They may test the game 'in house' but not the real world they rely on us for that. ZOS probably test under their perfect conditions and do not account for real world statistics. Listen to what people are experiencing or this game will not last much longer. If that is to happen, what a waste through pure ignorance. The issue we need is pure server power! More of them and more multiple instances. Get the CEO to give up his or her bonuses and start to spend a little.
