Housing and competition

Housing created a very solid base to use your creativity and make something incredible. I would really like some system in place to come to people and see the best design. Sure we can visit our friends, but even if someone will keep his house open to everyone how do I know where I can find really interesting houses?

It would be great to have something like "invitation board" - you can put your invitation there with some description. Anyone can use your invitation and visit your house. If they like design, they can set something like "nice" or "awesome", and the invitation board could have score your house received.

If I wanted a bunch of strangers trampling through my house, I'd just put my real life house on the market.

Your idea already exists through the forums. After housing is released someone will start a "show off your home" thread full of people posting pics. That's where you can farm your awesome's from.

That thread gave me the idea. You know, forums are pretty harsh environment, not everyone want to risk.

The only problem with that idea is that a VERY small percentage of the player base even visits the forums.

I currently see no point in spending time or $$$ (crowns or in game gold) to decorate. I'm pretty sure that my house will consist of a training dummy and 2-3 attuned crafting stations.
