Can Houses be shared when you're not there?

I saw that you can invite people to your house or mansion. I'm wandering if I have to be online for others to have access to it? Could we use this like a guild hall kind of? Maybe everyone throws in some gold to get the big one?

I also saw you can bind certain crafting stations to the ones we put in there. Like Twice Born Star as example. Can you bind multiple crafting stations to them? Like Julianos, Armor Master etc. ?

    I believe your answer is...yes!

Though you will have to have a separate station for each armor set.

Not 100% on if you must be online to enter a home. Hopefully not, so guilds can purchase/share a home for meetings.

Guildmates and friends can visit the home you have set as primary while you're offline, depending on your permissions.

You can't bind multiple sets to one station, but you can have stations for different sets in your home and are only limited to by the item count limit of the home. You also can't have two of the exact same station in the same house, like two Julianos Clothier stations, for example.

I don't believe so but that would be awesome. I would buy the banker NPC then, for sure.

This is pretty much correct. No guild banking yet from there, but I wouldn't doubt that there's a feature in the works for this in the future.

From what I understand, you can also "whitelist" players to allow them to edit and/or place decorations in your homes as well. So if you go with the guild hall idea, you can have some of them actually set up decorations. I have gathered they won't be able to remove items they don't own, but they can move them around. So if your guild has interior decorators, you're in luck!

I'm not 100% sure on this, but from what I've gathered, that's part of it.

I think housing can definitely work as a guild hall, but you'll need to bear in mind that each house still belongs to just one player. Which means only that one person can set permissions and add new items (although anyone with decorator permissions can move them around). Also crafting stations are bound to your account once they're attuned, so it has to be the house owner who attunes them.

I don't think any of this will be a problem for most guilds, but it's something to think about. If the person who owns the house leaves the guild then the 'guild hall' goes with them. If they stop playing no one will be able to edit permissions or add new items. And in the worst case scenario there is nothing in the game to stop someone accepting donations from their guild to buy a house then setting it to private so no one else can enter.

I think the obvious solution to the first two problems is to make the guild leader the owner. That doesn't prevent it happening, but if the leader leaves the guild or stops playing the guild will likely have bigger problems than being unable to customise their house. And the 3rd problem can be avoided by not donating to a guild or individual unless you're sure you trust them.

We may have to recruit some of those RP type players to set things up nice.

Look through the dev tracker. I'm positive Jessica answered that somewhere and the answer was no limit other than of course your house item limit. On my phone so it's a pain to find. @kylewwefan
