Probably the wording of the skill. "steal an enemy's life force dealing X magic damage and healing you for 25% of the damage inflicted every 2 seconds for 10 seconds."
Vs

In PTS change log developers say they tracked down Regeneration targetting bug and it was fixed, hope thats is also applied to Funnel Health, because they really make thats skill less usefull for NB healers since reduce number of healed, introduce targetting bug and increase overall cost of Strife skill around 38%.
Too bad, but they really push me and others from other variety of healers builds to dull templar only heal, thats make me less enjoy game and get more boring gameplay, before it was awesome since all healers have something unique but now I mostly will be kicked from group if come on something differ from templar.

I'd venture to say that night blade healers in particular are the best healer for pug 4 man content. A competent NB healer can easily compensate for sub par group members while still keeping the group alive. For example I puged the fg2 pledge last night and was in a party with a dps that only used resto heavy attacks and hard casted crystal frags for damage and for some reason kept using resto staff skills as well. The other dps was atleast using a Destro staff albeit a lightning one. Luckily the tank was able to self sustain his stamina and we pretty much duoed the dungeon. If I was any other kind of healer, this would have been an impossible feat but since NB healers excel in providing dps while healing situations like this one aren't as painful.
