Yeah, I've run into this a few times. Mine was a resto staff for a destro set bonus.
I was genuinely confused at first. My brain immediately tried to figure out how I could have a resto staff and a destro staff equipped on the same slot at the same time.
Then I was excited by the idea of dual wielding staves. I realized that was a silly dream.
Maybe you can get set bonuses from your backup weapon slot, I thought to myself...Then I was sad because that will never happen.
Then I was annoyed because RNG is to blame.
It's the same way guns are generated in Borderlands and non-unique items are generated in Diablo. Different items and attributes are randomly paired together to create what you see here. I guess they still have to iron out a few wrinkles in their item generation system.

It's not exactly correct. As I said you can't get Sword of Viper set (only daggers), and there are many items in sets you wish to see that would be used by many while on the opposite you get items that are simply a silly joke. Take it to one side, or make items that are making sense or make all items of all sets available.
