Interesting Crafting Bug

Extra note: Only recently came back to the game, left a few months after it came out?
Issue: All weapons under about level 30 that I try and make have no listed damage, not even space for it, ones above are mostly lower damage than they should be, all armor I can make till about lvl 30 is absurdly low in regard to defence.

Has anyone seen something like this? I've looked around a bit and couldn’t find anything and it's REALLY weird...and sad as I want to make some gear for my new guy.
