Redesign the dungeon finder timer. Please.

You want someone to break stuff? Keep the freaking timer on there. What is the point in having it when you finally get into a group and they either kick you or the group disbands right as you join. If you have an hour to play waiting 15 minutes just so it could happen again is a waste of time. You can add it in if someone leaves but why punish people when it's not even their fault?

This is horrible game design that punishes players for nothing. Please take a moment to re-think this and redesign it. Thank you.

In other games, where kicks don't penalize you, people start trolling, abusing, intentionally hindering you etc just to be kicked and avoid the penalty.

Get rid of the penalty full stop - it has clearly failed to serve its intended purpose. This has been a monumental fail and should simply be withdrawn.

It was put there because lower level players could not get a group, as higher level players would choose to leave the group and re-queue rather than run with them. Instead of higher level players serving the penalty, they now choose to kick others and force them to pay the penalty, so the problem of lower level players not getting groups is still present.

If penalties are to remain, kicks should be time limited, no kicks for 10-15 minutes, so the kickee has effectively served any penalty. If you choose to leave earlier than that, you pay the full penalty. I know this might mean that some reasonable players might have to suffer with an incompetent player, but it is fairer than what we have now.

I will add that using group finder comes with risks and if you do not like those risks, don't use it and find your own groups.

I do not understand the logic you propose. Players do not purposely provoke being kicked. In games I have seen with a penalty for leaving a GF group, but none for being kicked, their has been no disposition for attempting to be kicked.

The current design is flawed. Those that get kicked from the group or are in a group the leader disbands, should not be penalized. The did nothing worthy of being punished.

Only those that leave by their own choice should receive the full 15 minute lockout and considering how caustic some people in eso to kicking players because the need players to carry them in ESO, this makes sense.
