Rawl'kha connection issues

Today 8th January (EU server) I and others have been having connection issues specifically related to the city Rawl'kha or its zone Reaper's March.

Characters who are already in Rawl'kha/Reaper's March cannot log into the game past character selection screen. The game tries to load itself but kicks me back to the original log in screen (type username and password etc).

One of my characters who was in Greenshade before today is able to log in and out without issues. When this same character attempts to travel to Rawl'kha wayshrine, the game kicks the character out of the game and gives me the same error as characters who are already in Rawl'kha.

Many others and I have been having disconnect issues lately, but this specific disconnect is clearly related to Rawl'kha or Reaper's March zone. It also does not

Adding eso/bethesda/laucher whatever to the Firewall exceptions does not work. Opening ports is not only unsafe, but it doesn't seem relevant to an issue that seems specifically related to a certain city or zone.

My language is set to German, and because translation doesn't really work word for word, I'll just type the German:

"FEHLER
Die Verbindung zum Spielserver konnte nicht aufgebaut werden. Vergewissert Euch bitte, dass Eure Internetverbindung aktiv ist."

basically: ERROR / The connection to the game server cannot be established. Please make sure that your internet connection is working/that you're connected to the internet.

and yeah the other person and I are both connected to the internet and have tried several fixes. but because I can log into a character in a different zone without problems and only encounter problems when entering Rawl'kha/Reaper's March, it's a zone issue.

update: I asked in-game, and someone told me that others were having the issue of not being able to use a wayshrine to enter Rawl'kha, but using a wayshrine to get to other places in Reaper's March is fine. the player said that they think it has to do with the fact that there are too many players in Rawl'kha at once

Yep, I can't log in.....and my player is in Rawl'kha (tried 4 times so far)..........and this has been going on for over a week off and on.

Also having this issue on NA server, February 8 2017. Been a problem since housing released a couple days ago.

i've just added a post to another thread but this one is more upto date. this problem has happened a few times in the past but not as regular as it has happened to me today.

I'm trying to travel to Rawl'ka but get sent to Log in page everytime. i've tried wayshrines in Coldharbour, Grahtwood & even Travelling To Players that are there. every time the same, long load screen the crash

Same here. Completely locked out of the game since yesterday because my 2 mains crashed in Rawl. Now can not log back in.

Disappointing really. I tried 50 mins straight but no luck playing.

Maybe because everybody and their mothers park their characters in Rawal'kha.

Same issue as well, can't log in Rawl'ka. Maybe ZOS will allow us to play the game that we pay for.

Only succeeded to login once in 3 days.

Removed addons, repaired and reinstalled. None of them worked.
I am able to watch Netflix 4K and playing another MMO without any issues.

Same problem here. Two of my characters are in Reapers March/Rawal'kha and cannot login. I can load characters in other regions just fine.
Any fix for that?

Sometimes your connection can be routing through an area that is not optimal for a steady connection to our servers. One way to fix this and "refresh" your connection path is to remove your host.developer logs and allow them to restore themselves and find a better connection.

This is not working aswell. My char that was in DB Sanctuary is not logging in.

After last patch, BIG problem travel to some zones. Enable to connect server.......especially main cities...So much loading screens I saw last few days...so waste time waiting for playing. It start to be very frustrating. My connection is really very good (300+ Mbs), so no mistake at my side...

A simple restart of my computer solved this problem for me when I couldn't log in on a character in Rawl'kha.

Probably just a coincidence since people seem to be having this issue for several days ( I am assuming this means they turn off their computer at night, but you never know)

Anyway, just leaving this here in case it helps someone, but I wouldn't get my hopes up.

I'm getting a connection lost error when I try to teleport to Rawl'kha. Perhaps its time to reduce the players allowed on a single shard? And all the people duelling in crowded cities doesn't help either.

I thing, thats not this issue. In winter festival was much more people in one place....I hade connection lost error while travel wyshrine to wyshrine in the same location, or leave dungeon...but Rawl´kha and another main cities are really bad (3-4x connection lost, restart game...atd.). Something new after patch...

This has been a known issue since at least the beginning of the year (2017). If the Homestead patch had anything to do with it, it's only because more people are flocking to Rawl'kha because of trading the new house items - if the issue is because of the amount of people there. I'm assuming that IS the issue because when I go to that zone at dead times (Europe time 4am) I have no issues with disconnecting.

I've filed a report with support. Can you modify your game to allow players to login even if it's crowded in Rawl Kha. You could make it so that if there's too many there you have them zone in to the nearest Wayshrine, or allow us to pick a Wayshine when logging in, or move the Wayshine a bit from the City so that people will zone in then move to the City away from the Wayshine; allowing others to zone in.

6:34pm EST and I can't log in on my Sorc, who is also in Rawl'kha. I am getting the "Unable to connect to game server," but all of my other characters log on just fine. A fix would be fantastic. Thanks all.

Port to a nearby Wayshrine. Mount up and ride into town. Best possible solution.

Can't login to be able to port anywhere...

Delete ShaderCache.cooked and UserSettings.txt in your Document-Folder. I don't have a Crash since 10 hours of playtime after i did it.
