Heeelp I cannot decide which characters to focus more on. Dragon knight or templar?

I really only have the time to focus 1 one or 2 at a time, my main is a sorc so I am not dropping him, my dilema right now is between the magicka templar and dk. The fun part of templar for me is healing my guildies in pvp, I mean its allot more fun then I thought it would be but in pve they feel to easy to play. Also I want to play close ranged when I use dps and I am not sure how well my templar can do that being magicka, also if I want to switch to dps the spear ability seems weak for magicka but it does self heal.

Now so far I am only low level with the dk and I like him, mostly because I can fight close range, I am interested in him since he can be a magicka tank, but looking at his passives they do not seem very interesting for a tank, and I am not sure how there dps is compared to other classes that can tank.

If anyone has any experience with dk tanks or being a close ranged templar I would greatly appreciate it.

Templars signature move is jabs, so melee even as a magicka user doesnt seem like a big issue. A lot of people prefer templar healers.

A dks kit is probably one of the best for tanking. You are better off tanking as a stam dk. Dks get passives in the earthen heart tree that refund stamina everytime you use an ultimate. Pair this with tavas blessing and youll never run out of resources.

I see, well it seems templar is the best fit for me as I find stamina builds really limiting class wise thank you.

Not as limiting class wise as you would think. The trick is to have a large stamina pool with high magicka recovery. That way you can still use effective class moves like dark talons, igneous shields, volatile armor while keeping up block and taunt.

Ahhh I meant for damage abilities. I am more interested in using fire then poison stuff.
