Best Race/Class/Build combo for a solo player

I am currently leveling up an Argonian Templar and have been focusing mainly on putting skill points in Health and Aedric Spear, Two Handed Weapons and Heavy Armor. I am still learning about what works and what doesn't. My survivability has been pretty spectacular, but I would love some advice! Thanks in advance!

✭Just depends on what you want to do. Your post is very vague.
I would recommend becoming a magplar. That means a magicka centered templar. They have excellent survivability and a bunch of class skills associated with them to play with.0 -

I mainly want to be able to survive while I am questing solo. I tried a Magic User and found that when it came time to go after "bosses" in a quest I would die a lot. Mind you, again, I am new to this as I just got the game after Christmas. But that is why I am reaching out to more experienced players via these forums.
