Community crafting bulliten board

I think it would be cool if a player could post an order for crafted gear on a bulliten board in game. Only one person could take the job, but if not completed in a certain period of time the job goes back to the board. The job would have gold attached and is only rewarded upon completion.

Man, this would be interesting if implemented properly. I like this idea a lot.

Maybe have a limit to the amount one could complete each day to give others a chance to compete. Make the time to complete it pretty short so you couldn't stock up on them and keep the orders in limbo for days.

Sometimes they do take suggestions.
There was a 2 year split from me recommending the librarian title to it being in place. granted, the method to earn it was different.

But yeah, something like that would be neat. Would probably add more life to the game for gatherers and crafters. Definitely would give me a reason to actually use my maxed out crafting skills.

I feel like this would be really good for furnishings. Can't find one on a guild trader? No recipe for sale either? Put in a crafting order and now you won't have to spend crowns on that Redguard counter corner iyou need.... oh wait, Zenimax might not like that part.

I like the idea, but it needs to be implemented in a way that prevents one person from nabbing all of the orders.

Also how do you agree on prices? Do you put the ad up, saying you need one Nirn Shield (to research the trait) and let people bid for it? Then you pay the lowest offer?

Or will prices be fixed? How would that work? Cost of materials + 15% crafting fee?

Most Guilds have crafters that will help. They typically put that information in their notes in the guild roster.
