Can't login to PTS through steam version

So I downloaded the PTS overnight, and when I tried to login today, it said the login credentials weren't correct. When I tried to login to the regular NA server, it said to try again at another time. I re-validated my files through steam, and it redownloaded the missing files (I'm assuming), but now the launcher is reinstalling the whole game? and I have to redownload and install the PTS again? Should I be having this much trouble to get this to work?

Never use steam to validate yours files. If you need to do that for some reason choose the repair option from the ESO launcher.

Steam has an older version of ESO, so it saw your files were different than theirs and gave you theirs. Theirs were old... So now you're downloading patches since whenever their version is from.

Not sure if you really have a pts issue though if it wouldn't let you into live either. Try pts again when you can successfully log into live.

Oh, man, I didn't know that. lol... well that explains the downloading then. Once it's done, I'll post the exact error messages I'm getting.
