Important question re: housing update

Ok, so when they were putting in surveys and glass frags and psijic frags in the the crafting writs as possible rewards, there were a bunch of people who saved up the writ containers for the patch and then opened them after. Does anyone remember if these saved containers were changed so they contained the new rewards?
The reason I ask is because I have two master crafters, and was wondering if I should be saving up a whole lot of writ reward containers for the upcoming patch in order to have a better probability of getting some master writs right out of the gate.
So does anyone know if the old writs worked in the way I described? If so, they'll probably work the same way for this patch; if not, I'm not going to bother saving them up.

✭✭✭✭✭I want to say, container contents are generated when the item hits your inventory, not after. Which is why things like Undaunted Keys or unrefined mats were worth holding across patches, but containers are not. However, I'm not 100% certain.0 -
