Disable HDCP on PS4

Does anyone know why the encryptor doesnt disengage automatically while gaming. And does that cause input lag?

Not sure if it's accurate though.

I know my TV has 3 HDMI inputs and only input 1 supports HDR/4K/HDCP 2.2 - I favor that input with ESO because of the HDR support in the game. Haven't felt any input lag regardless of which input I use, except of course during major PVP action (when it can take 2-3 seconds just to fire a ballista...)
