i think it on all servers now
ever dolmen there campin by at least 4-5 bots
not players, players cant heavy attack 24/7 every second

also on PC NA you type in chat "x"
you will be invited to the group
AUTO invited by adon(if its not full
its usually 24 ppl)

and you can see also like half of group doing 3 dolmens in a loop
another half including the Leader camping one dolmen non-stop in afk mode

i will not name and shame you will see if you join them
those leade with autoinvite addon he is there also 24/7 7 days in a week
he is also not moving at all only rarely jump
its afk leveling with macros or smthing
he and any other afk-ers in group - getting credits for that dolmen without any damage dealt, just because they are in group

the sad situation ZOs doesnt care about it

Not macros, autoinvite is perfectly fine as well and is commonly used in Cyrodiil to get groups going outside of guilds. AFK levelling isn't against the TOS as you aren't violating any rules or guidelines. These people that are doing this are well within the bounds of the TOS that ZOS has put up for the game as they are not using any sort of artificial program to do this for them.

I suspect that we have yet to hear what ZOS thinks of rubberbands to hold controller controls, or a well place paperweight on a keyboard or mouse, then walking away for a few hours. My guess is that it violates the ToS, and I say this only because the ToS is written so that they can pretty much say that anything they don't like violates the ToS.

I would suggest that someone like @ZOS_GinaBruno chime in and say, but some people are under the misguided impression that it does not matter what ZOS says on the forum. So, my recommendation is to report them, and get friends to report them, and if they get banned, they will get the message. Otherwise, I guess it is OK to do it.

Edit: Maybe they will get a social ban. We know that works.

Well I'm here at the Hollow Waste Dolmen in Alik'r and there are about 20 robots just auto attacking the spot where the final Dolmen boss appears. Looks pretty cheap and ghetto.

This is the scene at Hollow Wastes Dolmen. Numerous bots standing on the 2nd story of a building next to the dolmen spamming skills non-stop whether there are enemy NPCs present or not.

Unbelievable that nothing is being done about this. Sad!

Spamming abilities Afk is against the TOS . No automated combat is allowed and this includes healing .

I've seen a lot of this as well. It's getting kind of ridiculous. One time, while questing in Vivec's Antlers, I saw about 20 characters (all with similar names) running a circle and killing dreughs over and over. The funny thing was that they were all sorcs with two pets EACH, so all you could see were Clannfears and Twilight Matriarchs. I reported all the bots I could, but there were so many pets on screen that it actually caused the game to lag.
This is on Xbox One NA, by the way. Since then, I've seen an increasing number of bot users.

OP I have one thing in your post I have a problem with & that's player's can't heavy attack 24/7 ... of course they can? It take absolutely NO resources, in fact it regenerates stamina...
not players, players cant heavy attack 24/7 every second

Other than that if they are bots I hope you reported them

How do you even run bots on console?
Rubberbanding I understand but not running around.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

For dolmens and change in mechanism to removes or target the safe zones will solve this.
yes they can do it other places but it will be less effective.

Well on a brighter note they do keep those out of the way dolmens up and running. This is not a new subject it has been covered and zos is not unaware. The number of dolmen afk'ers has increased dramatically in the last few days as more and more people figure out how it is done. Macros. One method is a program you could download for windows 7 that still works on windows 10. My pc means to much to me so I will not get it for risk of virus nor will I post a link for fear of spreading virus'es. The other method is to have a macro'able keyboard or mouse. I think that using macros in TESO is a forbidden but proving would be to hard.

ZoS could take a bit of a creative approach and add a new LONG RANGE mob spawn cycle at the dolmen's. Or new mobs near dolmens. All we really need is one mob with long range attack that pegs anything around or near a dolmen and walks the outer edges of the dolmens rather than staying in the anchor's area. Problem would be solved!

I have always wanted a large zone roamer for TESO. I'm telling ya the roamers get rid of afk'ers. Devs? Devs. Deeeeeeevsz.

PS - Umm, people. Macros and addons are two different things. The people who are "x" in zone and "y" in zone chat are legit players going by the rules and running the route not standing afk. Also, we are very protective of our parties if we see an afk'er they get kicked. So don't point your fingers at addons here that is not the culprit. Macro is not addon.

The other issue with this is more adds are being spawned at the dolmen. It isn't such a problem for those dolmen group, but if you happen to come upon those dolmen by yourself, then you're left to clear all the extra adds. Although, for higher levels, it is not hard to clear all adds, but more work and efforts. You're literally fighting way more adds than normal by yourself because those bots or rubber banding toons are not really fighting alongside you, yet causing more adds to spawn, all the while those bots/rubber banders are uselessly spamming from a distance. When I come to a dolmen with these useless spammers, and if there is no group there, I go to another dolmen.

You are not suppose to solo dolmens at a low level. And they could use some more beefing up they are still to easy. Even with botters. Even with everything they have to throw at us. D o l m e n s a r e t o e a s y.

Ps4 has a pretty big rudderband/tape on controller problem. Although I do find it funny when I check out a dolmen early in the morning and find the entire crowd of them laying dead all over the place.

What ZOS needs to do is make it so that bosses can appear anywhere around the dolmen, not just in the one pretty summoning circle. This would require that people move the targetting area, if they wanted the boss. Edit: Obviously, mark or identify where this boss is going to drop so people who are actually there, playing the game, are not caught unaware and miss them.

This should apply to dungeon and delve bosses, too. They should not spawn in the same place every time. It is easier for ZOS to do it this way, but really encourages mindless automation when done this way.

Raised this is the cheats & exploits discussion, because I was wondering what the stance is with these characters parked at the dolmens for long periods of time.
Whats the difference between them and bots, so to speak? They're not running a route. They are however, continually firing skills at one spot on the dolmen, where the boss spawns. Two players were doing the same in Bangkorai early last year, camped on top of an area where three zombies spawned. After raising the issue here, they were removed.

This is still happening. I'm at the Hollow Waste Dolmen right now (PC/NA Alik'r Desert) and there's probably 20 players standing on the rooftops of the nearby houses constantly heavy attacking the boss spawn spot.

The same players have been in the exact same spot for several nights that i know of (probably *much* longer than that).
PLEASE ban them from the game ...

I don't know why anyone cares whether someone rubber bands their controller. How does it affect you exactly? If anythiing it helps you clear the dolmen faster. You guys are no different than old people peaking out their windows and calling the police anytime they see a skateboarder in their neighborhood.

It is really hard on that little plastic post that the controller knob rests on. The additional stress could snap it off. It is the well being of the controller that people are concerned about. Respect the controller. Never use rubber bands.
