Just a short video showing the Island home available from the crown store for those interested when live hits . This is the fully decorated version . Wanted to video something positive from 1.7 and I think the Dev team in charge of housing did an amazing job . While I wont be purchasing this from crown store , I do think it's the best one available out of all the housing . You can literally decorate the whole island which is awesome . Good job ZOS , I am sure you will have little trouble selling these .

Maybe . If it is reasonable to my budget I will purchase this home . It looks great at night as well .

It has the vibe of a party place, not so much a house. I see this place as having a lot of role play potential, but not a lot of easy-to-access room for a functional housing. For example, if you wanted to add attunement tables, there's really no natural location, other than in the one tiny enclosed house. It wouldn't look very nice in there.

I do see it as so different from the rest that it would be worth having this one and another home, this one being for inviting friends over. Of course, I'm not loving that it's crown store exclusive, but what can I say? Typically ZOS.

The story behind it is a Pirates or Outlaws Island somewhere unknown or uncharted . I think it fits the description very well . You can put decorations all over the island . I am making it a super Khajiit party island and look forward to role playing Survivor with many contestants .

As much as I think this island looks GORGEOUS, I have to say anyway, I hope you guys enjoy your lungs cementing from all that volcanic ash inhalation.

I mean really, does the Volcano have to be constantly erupting? The Dunmer are stupid enough but that house is literally hugging the mountain. "Oh yes the location is great! Maybe one day I'll even wake up to a lava flow burning through my bedroom wall!"

Good video, but I hope people don't get too excited about zos putting their best work onto crown exclusives and giving a trickle of content to the actual game.

It would be nice to see something of this quality come to a dlc...

Nah, too temperate to be that far north, plus it's the wrong biome. Looks more west coast, like off of the Alik'r, or Gold Coast.

The best part about the volcano is that it creates huge booms.

The bad part about the island is that a lot of it is cut off from exploration. The lava doesn't hurt you but there's no good way to climb up it. I really don't want to stack 150 chairs to get around on that island. Why even create all that if much of it is inaccessible due to slippery terrain/invisible walls?

I tried very, very hard to swim through the invisible barrier to the coast but someone did a good job walling the whole thing off.

OK, lets be honest here.

That is just awesome... ...end of. And I am sure some people are going to spend many hours decorating it just right.

Problem for me is my main is a Nord. Home means snow and mountains, and deciduous forests.

I totally see your point.

However, to my shame, I am a sucker when it comes to player housing. I spent far too much in SWTOR to unlock the Yavin 4 temple complex. In fact that was probably the most I have ever spent in a game for "non-content" if you like.

I am sure, given that the ESO game world is far prettier and a lot more vibrant, dynamic and "alive", that if the right homestead was available (see my post above) I would spend RL money on it here too.

Looks like the waters still pretty shallow at the end of the jetty. It'll need some dredging before you can get ya boat in there.

Considering its so insanely large, alongside Craglorn Cave don't expect this to be under 10k crowns.

The manors have nothing on the size of the 2 crown store only houses and those manors will be closer to 10k, if not more than 10k.

I mean, a single tree decoration costs 400 crowns.

I don't think it will be that "cheap". The banker costs 5k crowns, the Imperial motif costs 5k too, the Nightmare Courser mount costs 2.5k, so if a banker and a motif cost 5k, and a mount 2.5k, I don't see a whole island being between 3k and 5k crowns too.

No, the island seems to be located in Topal bay. On datamined crown store items the image is named : Grand Topal Hideaway.

That map looks very similar to drawings of the earth before the continents separated, made based on fossils of organisms found on different continents.
