I call it the "Sorcerer disease", because I often watch it on Sorc Players. Pretty widespread among all ranged DDs though. Some of them learnt the hard way, that it is counterproductive for Praxin's circle of death and is a reason for driving healers using circles and Combat Prayer insane.

re moving around: i annoy the hell out of people cause i have a habit of rotating around bosses avoiding AOE's, other people who are apparently roleplaying a character with worms who are incapeable of standing still even when out of combat, annoy the hell out of me.

that said zooming out will improve your DPS as you will be able to view your surroundings better

Right.... what I am referring to is dps testing for end game raid groups/trials guilds testing its members to see if they are good enough to take in to trials. You can "test yourself" however you want to... I'm referring to the console community dps testing standard.

i am aware of the blood spawn test, i am also aware that it is not a very good indication of how a person will perform in a trial situation, where as soloing a world boss is!

The crate given in the template character gives you the recipe for it (you'll have to buy it with Vouchers from Master Writs on Live), and then you can go to an enchanting table to craft it (given you have the materials, which the template gives you). You need to have max enchanting, alchemy, and provisioning on the same toon to craft the thing.

Odd that the dummy doesnt have a meter to feedback your rotation summary or even actuall DPS stat.

I know there are addons, I'm console. So base game having it would be sweet.
