well i agree but he never said crafted will always be superior he did say they would be equal and the best items in game would be found in their trial system . He was fired long ago, he wanted a MMO and Matt wanted an online RPG.0 -

✭Bring back the old dev team, they seemed to have a handle on the game, the current team might do well to make some app games, not a AAA Elder Scrolls mmo.
But it will most likely never happen, they have moved on to hopefully greener pastures

✭Just bring in anyone who communicates and listens to the community. Instead we get a game director who is MIA until it's time to write the road ahead once a year and then vanishes. Maybe he does an interview once in a blue moon with an online gaming company.
We get a combat dev who I can't remember the last time posted anything.
Then we get a pve game designer who comes in sporadically to drop cryptic sneak peak bombshells and only follows up to post screen shots of his analysis tools to prove he's right.
Finally, our cyrodil guy says the same thing over and over, we are making small incremental progress stay tuned.
The only ones who actively communicate are the forum mods who shut posts down and Jessica and Gina who try to maintain a positive presence and do PR. Thank you Jessica and Gina!
To top it off we haven't had an eso live in months. They say it's because they are busy but it's probably budget cuts.Legacy of Kain

✭✭Don't be mistaken, Paul Sage was a sly fox. He said many things in a way that would make it seem as if it only had one meaning. For example when he spoke about "never having lockboxes in the game", he was actually speaking of lockboxes you would find in the wilderness, that requires a crown store key to be able to open. And truth be told, those kind of lockboxes are not in the game.
Another one of his quotes was "it's elder scrolls, but it's online". It is literally true, but it doesn't mean it is skyrim online, like so many people interpreted that.
And he had many more quotes like this. He was a very sly man, who knew very well wat to say. No surprise he did most of the talking, while Firror was left out of the spotlight.Edited by Koensol on January 5, 2017 6:46AM1
