Hello, can I ask if DLL Injectors (such as Durazno) for controller configuration are allowed in Elder Scrolls Online?

Elder Scrolls Online with a Gamepad is a very neat experience and allows for more comfort when playing the game.

However, this is not without its problems. My Xbox 360 Controller suffers from drifting analog sticks which is a very common issue among controllers, but this is is causing me several grievances and troubles in ESO, because the game is very sensitive with analog sticks.

Some of the troubles i had with my controller's drifting analog sticks in ESO:

1) Character could move on his own even when I am not pushing the analog stick,
2) In the menu lists (such as inventory and bank), often I click the next item instead of the one I wanted, because the game scrolled further down the list from where I left my analog stick,
3) my sneaking character often couldn't cease moving, and thus, ending up getting detected or falling onto floor traps.

To fix the aforementioned problems with controller, the analog stick's deadzone has to be increased and thus, make the analog sticks less sensitive in ESO. There are various tools on the net, like Durazno, that allow the configuration of Xbox 360 controllers with options to increase the analog stick deadzones to prevent such issues from ever occurring again. These unofficial tools are the only way for fixing the Gamepad problems, since Microsoft, the developer of Xbox 360 Controller, has not released any official tools for that.

But the thing here is, Duranzo uses .dll files that, in order for it to work in the games. Duranzo's .dll file has to be placed inside the game's installation directory. Then, once the game loads, Durazno automatically injects into the game to apply the Deadzone fix for drifting analog sticks. This is not considered cheating and this by no means affects gameplay, nor does it alter the game or its files in any way.

However I could like to know what Zenimax's position on this, before I use it, I want to know I am not breaking any rules or whatever as I do not want to get banned.

I looked on internet and I found other people too having the same question as I do. And they appear to have contacted Zenimax who told them that they can inject .dlls into their games:
ZOS: Greetings Traveller! Any software that you use without it influencing other players is okay for us, as long as it´s on your system only. We do not support any 3rd party software obviously, but if you want to try, there´s no harm done. =) If there´s anything else I can do, please let me know. Kind Regards Cedric The Elder Scrolls Online Team

Can Zenimax confirm that indeed they do not mind this?

I am looking for a response and I hope that solutions like this which aim at fixing these Gamepad problems and improve the gaming experience are permitted.

Thanks in advance for your response.

Well, there are many players using DLL injectors to use PS4 controllers. Should be okay.

    Thanks for your response.

    True that.

I know many players are using SweetFX (a graphics Injector) in ESO. But Zenimax didn't mind before, so I hope they won't mind too now for the use of injector which adjust Gamepad's analog stick deadzones.
