Honestly what threw me was that the price of the largest homes (13,000 crown) equates to roughly $135.00 real world dollars (giving you roughly enough for the largest home and leaving 500 crowns to spare). If you sub that's roughly 9 months of saving your monthly stipend.

Who in their right mind would ever think that pricing an unfurnished instanced player area that's merely good for 'decorating' that has no 'functional' storage objects and high priced 'decor' (provided you've met the requirements for unlocking them first) would be appealing to anyone?

I love player housing (and was really looking forward to it), but this feels like an out and out con to me. $135.00 for an instanced player area? I suppose you could purchase it with in game gold, but how? What's your secret other than an endless grind for resources that could be sold? I just don't see how it's feasible to obtain in a sensible way.

Hopefully actual storage containers and other functional objects are to come along with an adjustment to those big-home prices. Crazy!
