So templars are now only tanks and healers again?

RD as strong as it was was the only niche templars had as DD most of their damage output is mediocre outside that. Now templars will be the worst DDs and so will only work as Tanks and Healers.

On a serious note, pvpers asked for a range nerf, not damage. So the skill will still be stupid strong in PvP. The problem with is is zerglings at the back spamming it. They'll still do that. Range reduction is what it needed. That wouldn't have hurt PvE either.

It only needed a range nerf, not a damage nerf. As usual per ZOS heavy handed nerfs to magicka classes while barely touching anything stamina meta related.

Do any of you who post threads even play Templar in Endgame PVE?Magplar will no where near be the lowest DPs they will still be number two for magic DPs and Third overall.

Yep stam got off pretty lightly considering- trap and major force nerf but magicka used these too, and standard of might (also used by mdk)and hurricane nerf

If the entire class had to rely on one skill to be viable damage dealers then your class has much bigger problems, buuut we don't believe that is the case, do we?

And what about the change to daedric curse? Or cost increase to funnel health? I suppose those are PvP'rs fault as well!

Can you please point me to the thread that asked for the SPECIFIC 21% damage nerf and I'll jump on the PvP'r hate train too!!

This is actually a much bigger nerf to templar pve tanking, than it is for any other role. We now have even less CC, and the alternative templar CC sucks for PvE. Templar tanks already struggled on big add packs and trash. At least spamming blazing spear gave us some measure of control. Now it is going to be even more uncontrolable. First it was blinding flashes that was removed. Now this...

Do you guys even Stamina Templar? It's completely useless in end-game PVE content. They didn't nerf it specifically, 'cause if they did, they might as well have removed it from the game completely.

Yea I've got a stamplar, it's ***. I didn't say it wasn't, only when everything around it gets nerfed it's lucky it didn't as well lol. I agree stamplar and magNB needed buffs this patch, many things needed leaving as they were.
But looks like everyone got Zenimaxed or Zeniminned
