As I love patch notes and I really do. I've loved this game from the day I bought it ( console released). I play everyday and will continue to support you for the lovely environment you created. However some of these changes were never asked for nor wanted. Maybe you have a bigger picture that we don't see. Currently we don't like or at least from what I can read on here. So is there going to be a live show where these questions can be answered? Hopefully some of these changes are adjusted. I just want to know why they were changed. Maybe it will be better for the long run or you want a new customer base. Not sure but could use some splainin.

    I hope that's the answer because it would be great. I haven't had time to analyze all these notes properly. But just want to know if they are going to host an event for these changes with Q&A. I like Some don't like some. *** happens. I just want to know why we waited for "balance" only to nerf things like swallow soul( 3rd consecutive nerf in a year) or change an ice staff to tank? Now the price of desired sets sharp inferno/lightning just skyrocketed and ice isn't for Dps.

    Legitimately, why nerf destro staff so badly? Is it pvp? WHY NOT HAVE SEPERATE PVP / PVE SKILLS?!

    These patch notes are legit infuriating. Nerfs all around and NO buffs.. seriously it's bs.

    I JUST got my husband and a couple of friends in this game. I set them up with some reliable builds.. and now I don't even know how to adjust them.

    Seriously... REALLY bad idea and a great way to alienate new players when you BREAK their builds WHILE they're trying to get them.

    Generally, there aren't that many changes from PTS to live.... at least from what I've seen

    Aside from the peculiar buffs, unnecessary nerfs and unfixed issues, my biggest concerns are in ZoS's newfound hatred for crit and magicka sustain.

    Unless we see an unprecented level of response to feedback during PTS, ESO post-U13 could be a very different landscape indeed.

    Sure, testing is needed and we shouldn't get ahead of outselves... But vast swathes of the patch notes make for painful reading.

    Still laughing that they removed the stun from blazing spear. Didn't realize that helpful stun, especially for Templar healers escaping an agro'd mob was an "issue"

    All that stuff that's on pts, it won't be on live for a while. During that time you all can test out the pts and see first hand how the changes affect things. By the time it hits live, certainly new builds will have been made and tested by then.

    I just spent 3 months updating my builds. Don't know if I should again. Every patch is like this. Get your gear. Nerf. Get back to where you were nerf. I also can't test console pleb. Once it hits live it will be here for for at least a year.

    it's an issue in PvP,
    the fact is:
    the more you heal the less damage you should be able to do.
    the more you tank the less damage you should be able to do.
    that's the way it's suppose to be.

    templars right now are unkillable, and they kill almost everyone.

    Seriously, there's no need to be trolly. Builds for this game are super finicky, and spending hours on pts and google looking for something that people like all for it to be broken with ONE patch? Those are red flags and quite honestly ones that make sense for this game. It's why I quit when the game came out. They just came out with a sweeping patch with One Tamriel, and now this one just a few months later?

    There isn't stability. Rerolling / re-leveling skills / not getting to play classes you got used to and enjoy - why would ANYONE play a game with that being an issue?

    I wouldn't be so insanely ragey right now if there were SOME buffs going on, but the only buffs I read are actual fixes... maybe dragon knight?

    Seems to me ZOS will forever continue to develop a mainly PVE focused game and all the while try to adjust and balance around PVP. Its about time they actually knew their own game and either separated the skills to work differently based on PVP / PVE environment or did all the PVP oriented balancing of skills under battle spirit.

    Continually breaking people's builds and nerfing their abilities isn't exactly the way to go and only serves to aggravate people to the point where some long term players of the game up and leave. Nobody want to work hard to perfect a character build time and time again to exactly the same point it was prior to Zenimax breaking it but they clearly don't seem to care like they used to at launch.

    You can still watch youtube videos of people playing the pts, and read here in the forums what "plebs" who play it on PC say about it.

    Seriously! WoW used to do this ALL the time during Vanilla and the beginning of Burning Crusade until finally they stopped and just started buffing ALL classes. Of course power creep is going to happen, but why not lift up *** skills instead of making EVERY skill down to the level of the poorly balanced skills?

    Is it seriously too much work to buff skills than it is to nerf them?

    1 They can drive long term great paying customers away from unwanted changes
    2 Have you even seen page 1 of the forums the new threads about unwanted changes are numerous
    3 Is it a bigger picture that they see? I'm ok with them changing stuff but they Things like swallow soul would get something with a 40% increase. ( a friend has been waiting a while to get a buff for his class only to get nerfed)

    I think the reason ZOS nerf skills in ESO rather that buff them is because:

    1) They blinkerdly think its a viable way of getting everyone to keep playing as those that haven't already reached the point of "why bother anymore" will want to get their builds back to the strength it was at and find new and "fun" ways of completing old content for the umpteenth time.

    2) It gets people raging about the skill changes for a while and distracts them from going on about lack of actual new and meaningful content in the game and main story progression.

    Sure there have been DLC but the best of those in my opinion was Orsinium. Thieves guild and Dark brotherhood were momentarily fun but all too easy to complete in an all too short a time. By now we should have a continuation of the main story or a new story at least that spans across several zones instead of just the odd zone now and then. All the features that were mentioned years ago like spellcrafting, arena's, the PVP portion of the justice system should already be implemented, but instead all we get is this constant tinkering, busy work, and grind, and the ever expanding list of trinkets thrown in the crown store.

    I really used to love this game and I've been playing since beta but the current development team either don't seem to have a clue how to move the game forward properly in an enjoyable way for their playerbase, or they do but their hands are somehow being tied and creativity stifled. Even my hope of things getting better are beginning to wane rapidly and considering the hours I've put into playing this game its a real shame.

    well.........again as with so much they have done latelly they have gone and done the same here with skill/gear changes and labled it as 'balancing' which is they'v done the 'easy mode' option. instead of actually looking at the game, how things really work in the game (not on paper) and also to what so so many players have been saying and reporting on PTS they have chosen to try to make changes with the least amount of input and work from their side.......as usal......and yet again have not really fixed much at all, in fact if anything it is now going to be even more unbalanced and created no doubt other issues.................................sorry just a down right lazy aproach to actual fix's and balancing.

    Kind of glad I stopped playing, just thought i'd take a look at Patch notes and see if they had finally fixed anything properlly and with some actuall common sense and thought...........but NO they hav'nt. Pathetic......
