For a dps stamina nightblade I mostly plan on doing solo pvp, would 5p spriggans and 5p Toothrow work well together. I use DW/Bow so the major savagery granted from toothrow and penetration of spriggaans seems like it will work well. thoughts?

for solo pve 5p spriggans is great, if you're going for dropped sets that are in solo only 5 piece Toothrow is a good boost for it.

of course there will be "better" higher dps ways to go than that, but that will require doing trials and/or having crafted sets on

Its not as bad as wearing a magicka set but its not really that great. Spriggans is a good choice but as a solo pvper you'd probably want clever alchemist. You can slot camo hunter for pvp ( which is really good since you gain bonus damage from making stealth attacks)

Edit: instead of toothrow and you dont have to mess with dungeons to get it

I've looked into clever alchemist and it doesn't seem to add much, I focus mainly on crit and penetration, and the weapon damage boost doesn't seem very high regardless

The weapon damage boost is the highest you can get from a single set outside of Fury and Ravager, neither of which let you control when you use the burst.

Clever Alchemist is truly an amazing set. Especially for a DW/bow build who will need to use weapon crit + brutality potions in order to get their buffs before opening from stealth.

Camo Hunter does nothing for a nightblade, we have Minor Berserk already from Relentless Focus.

So spriggans and alchemist or toothrow and spriggans?, I can use both sets to figure out which I prefer but a starting point is nice

Spriggan + Alchemist is a strong and commonly used "non-proc" burst DPS/gank setup. I use Spriggan + Alchemist + Selene on my main NB build.

Toothrow is not great since you can get major savagery from potions or expert hunter.
