Major sorcery stack with total magicka dmg?

OK so I know that for every 10.45 magicka it raises your spell dmg up by 1 point but only on the skill tooltip.

I was just wondering if major sorcery raises that up by 20% too or just your spell dmg?

Raises spell damage by 20%. It works in conjunction with magicka via a series of coefficients that depend on the ability being considered.

Just hunk of them independently, try to get both really high, and let the game do the calculations.

What everyone else is saying. If you stack Max Magicka instead of Spell Power, the 20% boost won't be as good as if you stack spell power instead.

For example: I have around 50k max magicka and 2k spell power, so the 20% spell power boost gives me another 400 spell power. If I had more spell power (at the inevitable sacrifice of max magicka), I could have say 3k spell power instead and get 600 spell power from major sorcery.

As the description says, spell damage. So yes all your spell dmg is raised...
