Please Remove Training and Prosperous

I am assuming I speak for most people when I say, please remove training and prosperous from set drops (i.e. undaunted chests, dungeon sets, overland sets etc.) These traits are ok for crafting but to account for approximately 50% of the drop rate then it is clear that there is a problem.

At the very least can we have an explanation regarding why they are even there in the first place.....they are almost utterly useless.

    They don't need to get rid of it. However, going forward if you are going to have dropped items be BiS then crafters need to be able to change traits, or even style of the armor.

    They drop significantly more than they should in my opinion, but yeah I will agree something has to change.....at least make them valuable to a merchant so you can get some decent gold for it if you do not want to decon

    Training and prosperous is fine but under no circumstance should they be on cp160 gear plain and simple.

    Prosperous needs to be changed to increase your resource pools by 1% for every 100k gold you have on you.

    Nope. I actually went back to the starter islands and got 3 full sets of Trainee (Light, Medium and Heavy) for my endgame chars to wear while grinding CPs.

    70% increase in XP from each mob is pretty significant ...

    Fair Point but you could craft a grinding set...doesn't have to drop so much

    I don't know. Divines is great and all when I'm trying to maximize my damage and healing, but if I had the time to fight mobs all day long, I wouldn't turn down two pieces of prosperous Netch's Touch gear. Can't craft that shock damage bonus. :wink:

    actually some training gear sells quite well, so there is a demand for it.

    Or maybe balance the combat effectiveness / value of traits and then add another stat category for crafters (and maybe even dropped items) that would add non-combat stats like training / prosperous (like with a crafted patch kit / armor kit / etc).

    Then we could see some diversity in gear builds, make a lot more dropped gear actually useful (we'd still have situational BiS but not so much useless trash) and provide something useful / valuable for crafters to be able to add to dropped sets.

    I definitely agree with the first 5 words. As it is now you're better off with impen than preposterous if gold is what you're after. The amount you save with impen exceeds what you'd earn in preposterous.
