Run with low cp's! It's fun

Seriously if you are 561 and get grouped with like 180's, teach them the mechanics, give build advice, and use it as a chance to improve your technique. You might have to off heal AND do most of dps, but you will meet cool people who

1.) appreciate you taking the time to help
2.) will eventually become 561's and will more likely act similarly to you rather than become an elitist themselves
3.) provide a little ego boost :p
4.) allow you to cultivate your leadership skills, because burning through a daily without talking vs. explaining boss mechanics in a way that leads to the group succeeding will make you feel more comfortable leading guild mates in a trial
5.) will become more invested as players since you took the time to help

    Maybe from a PvE perspective.

From a PvP perspective - I was leveling a couple alts to 50 in IC sewers using the boosted experience from the event and forgot that I had never spec'd CPs on that particular toon. I was dying so quickly and having such resource problems that I started looking through my build... Once I repaired the issue, 1v1s became a breeze again.

I remember the days when people believed that once you had a couple hundred CPs, everything after was to small a differential to fret over...

Haha just think the game should occasionally be fun for all involved. I'm an elitist and a minmaxer for the sole purpose of helping other people git gud, get the best build advice, and learn how to get through icp, cuz man it's fun (and you need that scathing mage).

What's the point of being capped and geared out if you only do 1/4 of a certain dungeon to see how fast you can kill the bloodspawn. Go play with people who are excited about the challenge and the stupid engine guardian helmet they want but will only use twice.

Don't get me wrong I love my trial guild, we rock, but i runs guild, and I specifically dedicate my time to teaching ppl dungeon mechanics, animation cancelling, boring setup and gear nerdism, and other odds and ends.

Trust me, running trials at AND helping lowbies has provided me with an immensely satisfying experience in eso- I get to do the hard stuff and excel at it with the hardcore players, but also form friendships with new players and see them learn to enjoy the intricacies of the game. I really don't spend any time stressing about Jesus beam being op or let 5x viper plus tremorscale cheese ruin my days

Oh yes I almost exclusively pve haha.

Duels are a different beast cp matters, and then when you are equal it's skill, gear, matchup knowledge, and animation cancelling prowess.

As far as pvp I have no idea about nothin lol

I am now at 194 CP and have been in Cyro a bit lately. I can say its not horrible if you run with a group, but I would not try any 1v1s unless you see a target around your level.

Only downside is; other people see your level and you are going to be targeted. I think it is teaching me a bit as I learn to move around LOS and up stairs down stairs to try to last long enough for my guildies to maybe kill the people chasing. I do know that I need to pay more attention to when to block because I have paniced from a gank just trying to spam heals and it doesn't work if I don't put my guard up so; it is a good learning tool. Unfortunately at the expense of rez chrystals from my guildies.

I ran a random dungeon last night with 3 L40's. It was kind of interesting to say the least, watching a group that had no real roles, no Red Awareness at first, and started the dungeon before the 4th showed up. At least one of them learned to stay out of Red while watching me.

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

I've had a lvl 10 tank know more about the Ruins of Mazzatun than the 800 CP dps in the group...and they joined my ts...sometimes you need to give the little fellers a chance.
