While leveling, right when I turned 50 by a quest I received one of these. My next kills however were CP 10

Not matter what your CP Rank, your character Level is 50, been this way since even the Veteran Ranks.

There is a brief period of time when you first hit L50 that the game says your L50 and not CP10 or in the old scheme, Veteran 1. If you happen to loot a mob or a scaled chest during this window, you will get an L50 item.
