Would like some clarification on this. Is OpenGL no longer supported in ESO? Changed up my user settings and noticed that the game reverts back to D3D11.

Where have you been? OpenGL support was dropped a looooong time ago.

There were many threads complaining about it, all of which were ignored by ZOS ...

Haven't paid much attention apparently, thanks for the response. That really is a shame, I did like playing ESO on Debian.

While the Mac Client is built for OpenGL, the PC client requires DirectX 11 rendering. Using OpenGL on PC may cause performance issues, missing game assets, or quest progression blockers.

The game should always use DirectX by default.

If you need any help reverting back, follow the steps provided here.

Thanks for the response! I may look into the Mac client and see if I can get it running in Linux even if it is not supported :)
