Black screen after playing eso

anyone else getting black screen. ive tried all fixes. ranging from dx 9 and 11 swap to 144-100 MHz on monitor, downclocking my gpu and so much more. I get the black screen within 10 minutes after being in the game and after I restart the client I'm fine.

all drivers/bios/ and so forth are up to date. just looking for any answers

please don't move this thread to tech support area. that area is a joke!

I'm having the same issue. The screen goes black and there is no escape that i have found yet, aside from a hard restart.

I've had a couple of things happening since the jesters event started. First happens mostly when doing trials. I notice some of my skills don't have their normal animation, then swapping bars becomes iffy then everybody but me stops moving and I have to get into task manager and end task to get the game to close.

Other happens as far as I can tell randomly. That is a black screen that usually causes me to have to restart my computer.

Had no problems (not counting lag of course) before the event so I am being optimistic and hoping when the event ends it goes away.

Have you tried disabling any addons you might have running?

I think there's at least one addon causing issues for some people today.

This. If you are ever having problems in this game, disable your add-ons. There have been so many problems lately that were fixed by turning off your add-ons. I use very few, and have not had a problem outside of an error that pops up after being in game for 5 minutes. I click close, and that's the end of it.

I have found that using ctrl alt delete and hitting "log off" then logging back in removes the black screen for some reason, it shouldn't be like this though, but atleast you dont have to restart your computer everytime. I found another workaround too but can't remember it atm.

I sometimes get the black screen.
I just thought it was my computer being old.

Happens when I overclock my video card. This game seems way more sensitive to overclocking than others.
