As it is now, there is little point to buying the crafting motifs from the crown store. Most people will spend gold over crowns for motifs. And with the abundance of useful dropped sets available you rarely wear a full set of crafted armor anyways.
I suggest that motifs bought from the crown store should come with the three preview outfits as costumes!
