Installer Randomly Closes

So I haven't played in roughly two years and wanted to check out all the improvements, and can't even get it installed now. Installer update never re-launches game, and if you force it open it keeps randomly closing while downloading the game.... which is a problem for a 30gb game. What's the deal?

Try to remove everything and install ESO from scratch probably also an old installer/updater?

I know its a lot of downloading but maybe it helps.
