Please remove 15 minute queue timer after getting kicked from a group

    I have been kicked once and it was for DPS from vet darkshade 2. See I was on my magSorc, and immediately as I get in they tell me that they heard on YouTube and from guild mates that sorcs are not strong. I say let's just try it. We get to the bug boss guy the tanks dying the healer is spamming Jesus beam from 100% and the stamDK is spamming venemous claw. The DPS is only 29k of which I was 23, would have been more but the tank was dead and the boss was agro'd onto me of course. They tell me I'm not doing enough damage, it's my fault the tanks dying cause with good DPS he wouldn't need more than 17k health anyways.....

    Mind you the boss is dead. I am laughing soooo hard at chat saying it's my fault. They do a vote to kick. Who knows maybe a stamSorc pulled them through it lol.

    It was jjst hilarious to witness elitism from the worst of players, I didn't even protest I just apologized for my DPS. They said to practice and to switch to stamSorc or reroll.... I have more than max CP. Two of them were maxed and one had 4 something. So they were bad high volume players lol. How you get to max CP and not git gud is beyond me.

    What?! I'd say mag Sorc are the best dps in dungeons.

    Not the best, but still very good. It's the only Magicka class I liked to DPS as.

    And yet it penalizes the players who are removed from the group against their will the most.

    @ZOS_JessicaFolsom to put it constructively:

    This would be a helpful feature for individuals who enjoy dungeon content, and it would be in line with the cooldown timer's goal of punishing those who prematurely leave groups of their own accord.

    1. Check the event that causes an individual to leave a group.
    2. If it's a kick vote that passed, remove the cooldown timer for queuing for random dungeons.
    3. To prevent the person who was just kicked from requeuing into the group that kicked them, the random queue should just exclude them from that one dungeon for 15 minutes.

    In other words, if someone was kicked--and only if they were kicked--the cooldown timer only applies to the dungeon from which they were kicked, more to spare them from being kicked again than anything.

    Yes, It is good to have for GFs, but the issue is Zos penalized those kicked from a group. Only those that leave or take action to disband the group should get the lockout.

    See my point? Group skilled players with skilled players. This is like if Halo did away with matchmaking and threw MLG players into a match against day one players at random. Very, very poor planning on the devs end.

    Matchmaking like this is already available. Just form ones own group then queue. For using the GF to make the group this option should never, will never, be added because it is just plain bad and defeats the purpose of the GF.

    CP has nothing to do with skill. Nothing at all.

    Why should group kick you if you are a good and worth player? If you cant heal, cant tank, cant be at least medium quality DD, why should someone just have player in a group as stone? Till they are not your friends of course. I remember time when this system was not included in group finding tool and whole day there was situations like @starkerealm mentioned, so no, everything right with this system.

    Title says it all. This seems like a Beta bug.

    It's ridiculous and very frustrating having to wait 15 minutes to queue up again just because some grp kicked you before you even finished loading into the dungeon. IDK why it hasn't been addressed yet, it seems to me like in an mmorpg, a problem like this would be very high on the priority list.

    Yeah... it was.. but 99% it is used to kick healer or tank that is in specific dungeon for 1st time and does not know the mechanics yet. In other words - 99% of time it is abused. Hell... one time I was kicked only because... I was doing quest assassinated with group dungeon... :o

    Because if the 15 minutes starts counting as soon as you port. So if the group spent at least 5 minutes trying to get through the dungeon rather than kicking someone for their CP count or level, the penalty would be less.

    That said, you can't tell why someone was kicked. It could have been a perfectly valid reason, like the player being rude or going afk without notice.

    Personally, I'll always give any group at least the 15 minutes to see how it goes.

    I am sure that zenni can tell the difference between abandon and kicked.. i wish they would implement it though.... its not fair on people who get kicked coz a buddy of the leader wants in..

    Couldn't agree more with this.

    In addition to the change I'd like to see them implement some numbers for where you sit in the group finder.

    E.g

    Queue for random dungeon and the following shows instead of how long you've been queued for.

    Tank: position #4
    Healer: position #7
    Damage: position #14

    This way i know whether I can do something whilst I wait for the group finder or do I stand around knowing I'm 'next in the queue"

    And its not fair that someone who gets kicked from a Group for being an *** or having The Wrong role to Not get the 15min penalty

    Im not saying that this system is ideal, it have its own problems, but at least its doing its job and quantity of rude players who putting balls on group is much less.

    15 minute wait should just get removed idk why its a thing even as a penalty its not much of a punishment its just unnecessary. Though queueing in for vCoS or any of the hard DLC dungeons and getting nothing but low lvl's is pretty frustrating as well. You either waste time on carrying low lvls or kicking them until queue finds someone who is sufficient in lvl, and yes it does seem elitist in a way but there are very little people that have the patience to teach and carry a CP83 Argonian Sorcerer or whatever it may be.

    1. The 15 min penalty timer should start whenever someone gets out of a group before the dungeon is completed, either by leaving or being kicked, not when the dungeon starts. Abandoning your party 15 min into the dungeon is just as bad as doing it right in the beginning, if not worse.

    2. No kicking should be allowed for the first 12 minutes of a dungeon.

    3. One account can only start a votekick once a day. That way people will save their kick for the actual troll who queues as a bow-light-attack healer and not waste it on the legit CP80 healer without giving him a chance because the next healer could be a stamina one with even less CP.

    Problem solved.

    Too hash, I say one vote kick each dungeon, it let you get rid of afk, obvious trolls or fake tanks.
    However using has the risk that the next one is worse.
    You tend to notice this on first boss.

    If group agree to quit dungeon its no penalty. Has been in multiple runs where we find it too hard so we agree to fold.

    However they have to fix the dungeon finder before this.
    Grinding just make you go in circles.
    Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.
