I want to make a stamina only blade and bow, no magika weapons.............

I want to play as a nightblade for PVP.........

I don't want to be a vampire.

Should I wear medium or Heavy armor? What race should I be? Should I put all my attributes in health and stamina?

HELP want to get to 50 before festival is over for bonus....

I would recommend not trying to speed through the early levels if this is your first play through. Part of the reason people complain about people not knowing anything about how to play is because people speed grind to higher levels and have no idea how to play in a group.

But to answer your question, probably a combination of the two. Your medium armor will increase your damage overall by giving more stamina and crit chance etc.

Your heavy armor will give survivability.

Race? There are several options: Redguard for stamina boosts, khajeet for crit boost (not that great in pvp though), wood elf for archery bonuses (if that's your thing). There's others of course just these off the top of my head.

Attributes? Full stamina will boost your damage a lot, but if you are uncomfortable with your hp level then put some into hp.

    Play how you like man.
Make PC NA raiding great again!

    Down with drama!

Stamina only nightblades work well enough, medium armor and a bow/melee mix can be quite effective for burst damage and gankings... heavy armor is more tricky, due to resource regeneration issues requiring more skill to handle, but also quite doable and will give you more staying power, especially once you get a decent stamina selfheal with vigor.

Bows are pretty nifty sometimes, though you'll learn to curse them when you face dragonknights in cyrodil flapping their wings. Dual wield is a classic, since nightblades have a nice stamina-morph gap closer themselves anyhow - and there is some really nifty AoE in DW. Two-handed is also always a pleaser for DPS, even if its no longer quite as OP as it was back before wrecking blow got nerfed a little. And one-and-shield is still the go to for anyone who wants to be tanky, though that really is not something stamblades are much good at... stick to the sneak attacks and DPS, I would suggest.

As has been said, full on stamina will get you loads of DPS, but make you a glass cannon, keeling over whenever someone as much as sneezes in your direction. In cyrodil, where AoEs fly around a lot, that can be an issue, sure, you'll gank-from-stealth a lot, but you'll also respawn a lot - personally I prefer a 2/3 stamina 1/3 health setup, that way you get a chance to react to attacks (cloak, vigor, dodge roll and potion, whatever) instead of going down with the first decent hit. But you pay for it in needing a bit more effort to bring on the pain...

Races... yeah, redguards are good with stamine, imperials are also pretty nifty for all the combat stuff, khajiit and bosmer are good for criticals - the cats a little better at backstabbing, the deer elves a little better at archery... if you prefer heavy armor, you may also look at the thoughness races like orcs or nords... but in the end, play what seems most fun for you, not what is most effective. Hey, my stamina nightblade is a dunmer... ;)

The most important thing is - learn how to make the most of your build, whatever that is. Don't jump into things and expect it all to work with no effort, spend the time to learn -exactly- what setup nest fits your playstyle, browse what gear best supports your setup, and also learn what alternate setups you find useful when you want to tailor your skills for a specific fight...
Respawning in cyrodil can help a lot there. Try some things, see how they work or don't... and pay special attention to what other stamblades use against you!

Being vampire is beneficial to NB chars.
Sneaking at full speed is great.
10% more stamina/magicka regen is great.

Races for NB gankers - Bosmer and Khajiit.
Both get 10% more damage from stealth, and it is a huge thing for stamNB.

I guess Orsimer could be fine too, thanks to 4% more melee damage.
If ganker, go 7 medium armor. Also, 64 points into stamina.

what's got you itching for a little of the "pleasure spiked with pain" of cyrodiil @Thealteregoroman???

and, magicka builds do okay in pvp...just make sure you stand behind everyone else until you're ready to fire off your destro ult..
