Membership plus days stolen by ZOS system

Has anyone else been stolen by Zenimax here? They stole 11 days of member-plus from my account and do not want to admit the mistake. I've opened several suport tickets and they say that's not their problem.

How exactly do you feel that they "stole" time.

Did you explain in your support ticket what you means by 'stolen'? Did the sub benefits just stop working? Did the number of days remaining drop by 11 over night? Are you complaining about maintenance taking the game offline?

I've worked customer support before (not for ZOS but it's the same idea) and if I got a ticket with all of the information you put in this topic I'd read it, re-read it, conclude it's impossible for me to work out what the problem actually is and send a pre-written response that's hopefully along the right lines then wait and see if you bother to actually explain what's going on so I can fix it.

You mean the renewal date is now 11 days sooner than it should be? You'll have a receipt email saying how many days you purchased, and when. Confirm on that and send them a copy.

Must be catching...i renewed my car insurance earlier today. Got it 15th jan 2016 for 12 months. The renewal was due 6th jan 2017. Hmm

Probably just some preferred renewal date so there's no lapse in coverage from the system?

Anyway, just checked my billing history. It's a little hard to follow with all the other line items, but it seems in order.

Waitasecond. Are you looking at your billing history, and then seeing the counter moving back a day every couple months?

    For instance: June 12, July 12, August 11, September 10, October 10, November 9, December 9, January 8?

They "steal" days from PC players by charging you by the month, but only giving you 30 days per month.

So if you buy two 6 month subscriptions you will get 360 days instead of the 365 you paid for.

-Edit- After double checking old screenshots, it appears I was mistaken.

You typically pay here by 30 day intervals (or 60 or 180). There is no option to pay monthly so if this is the situation the OP describes then that is the answer to his issue. However, since he provided essentially no information, it's impossible to tell if this is what's happening.

It doesn't work that way. You pay by the number of days, not the number of months. I'm currently subscribed for 90 days, for example, not 3 months.

It's a thing. Or at least has been a couple times. Sometimes it's available, sometimes it's not. But if you're set to recurring, you'll keep getting it.

EDIT I fail at maffs, especially when I'm fighting off this headache. I didn't realize what you were saying, mybad.

Also, ZOS is pretty clear about you buying 30 days of time, not a month. Hell, even the Tiger mount was "300 paid days" not 10 months.

No, it has always been by the day. Even back when they comped us in the first month, it was five days added to our accounts, or something like that.

Agreed. I have a note that my first subscription on 4th April, 2014 was for 90 days. It's been the same ever since.

That said, I can't speak for console, although I can't imagine why it would be any different to the PC version and I'm sure if it were different then one crowd or the other would be worse off as a result in which case we would have heard about it!

I usually put 60 days memeber-plus with Third-party keys, because discount (usually two months for the price of one).
The last 60 days ESO time key that I placed was on 9/30/2016 that would go until 11/29/2016.
With the disappearance of these keys, I opted to purchase member-plus by Steam. I linked ZOS and Steam accounts and on 11/18/2016 I bought one month of member-plus by Steam to experience how it worked.
Note that between 11/18/2016 and 11/29/2016 I had two contiguous member-plus periods (11 days). Starting on 11/18/2016, in my ZOS account page, in account status, was warned that the management of my ESO PLUS TIME was by Steam. From this date I started using the launcher provided by Steam.
On 12/18/2016 the Steam time was over and the remaining eleven days (by the contiguous time) of my previous key were gone too.
On previous occasions, contiguous time between two keys was always counted separately (usually the second key only started counting after the end of the first one).
After sending all documentation proving purchase and activation of all this plus time, ZOS says she has no responsability and can not do anything blamed Steam. Steam in turn, reported that the purchase period was provided. The system and its subscription management is provided by ZOS and I think ZOS should take responsibility for subscription time that has missing. I feel stolen. I paid for that time.

Not ZOS's problem as you linked the your account to Steam. It said that your ESO+ time would be managed by steam which means you pretty much forfeit the plus time you had with ZOS directly. Time was not stolen at all.

As I said, they were forfeit when you linked your account to Steam and they took over managing your ESO+ time.

    @RVFFVS

Since your on a steam account it would seem that your issue is with Steam, not Zos as Zos is a third party in the matter. Steam is your vendor.
