Does the Skill "Surprise Attack" Proc the "Selene's Set"

Hey there, i've been using the Selene's Set for like 2 Hours now. But i'm still not sure if my main DPS Skill (Surprise Attack) is counted as a "Direct Melee Attack"

It's definitely not only weapon skills or I would never proc it because I don't use any weapon skills and get procs constantly.

I'm pretty sure Surprise Attack counts as a direct melee attack to proc this. The proc does not say "weapon skills" like Red Mountain does.

Very easy test: go to wrothgar (or anywhere with 100k hp mobs) and spam surprsie attack on their face until you get a proc, or feel reasonably certain it doesn't proc it.

I get selene procs with very high reliability on my nightblade doing Light > Surprise Attack > Bash weaves. I think it's very likely that it procs on each of these attacks as they all count as a direct melee attack.

Biting Jabs procs it. 8m range, channeled, class skill. At least on PTS, as shown in this screenshot. Cannot say for sure it this has been changed/fixed on Live.
