[PS4] have you found a cipher or any dust?

I haven't farmed for a long time, yet, but I have not come across any dust or a cipher. I thought with the amount of nodes I have harvested that one drop of dust would appear.

Has anyone on PS4 had any luck? Any drops since the New Life Festival release?

Nope, been travelling around and knocked off a dozen or more world bosses and about the same number of dolmens, harvesting stuff as I go and nothing.

I have read the cypher is rarer than the Imperial motif and I found that 12 months after starting to play, so I might have a while to wait yet.

I have seen the Dust being linked in zone chat. I have a guild leader who is selling the potions but I want to hear someone who actually found one in the field.

I have been farming nodes all the time in the required areas on multiple characters. I have even been going out of my way to do the mages and undaunted daily delve quests because those are in areas that have the nodes so I can get some xp, some coffers, and mats. I have NOT seen one dust.

I am not carrying with me a recipe or xp potion in my inventory... Any feedback as to if this increases your chances?

Same. Been playing on XB1 since launch and not a single Imperial motif. Won't hold my breath for finding any dust or ciphers either.

Didn't think they dropped from anything but wood, cloth, ore, water, and alchemy.

I haven't found either. And I've been farming collectibles too so tens of thousands of kills. No cypher. No dust.

I've heard of someone getting cypher in wayrest sewers from a Skelton. If that helps at all.

Aetheric items don't drop in Craglorn or in runes. Nirncrux drops in Craglorn on any material resource.

Nirncrux only drops from wood metal and cloth nodes in Craglorn. Aetheric drops in any non DLC zone including Craglorn.

so the dust is an ingredient meaning you will need multiple to craft more than 4 xp potions?

Tried farming till 2 weeks after release but have not found, give up and not wanted anymore..

It does not have to be super rare..

Correct. 1 Dust + 1 original ambrosia = 4 Aetherial Ambrosia (assuming you have the skill points invested to get 4 drinks on every craft)

Have never found Dust, Cipher or Imperial motif; been playing since launch.

Found my first dust on an enchant node on Stros M'kai two days ago. I still don't personally know anyone that has pulled a cipher yet. It's quite possibly 1:1000000 or less. The dust feels like about 1:10000. PC/NA
