Also, I could see it now "15 mil ap wasted, I want a refund" because the rng there would be just as bad as dungeons.

Dungeons would serve the reason they did before (don't forget that for the most part of this game, they didn't even have competitive gear). But you there would now be an alternative way to getting burning spellweave swords to having to run COA 10000 times. This would mean that PVP'ers could get gear doing what they love: PVP'ing
PS: I did run it 10000 times and still don't have swords.

I don't think it would be bad, but you'd spend a lot of ap as well. Maybe the next patch, hell... this doesn't give a lot of people something to spend AP on. 1T has been out for months, this helps, and is a step in the right direction but only time will tell

Or even better - let's make them BOE.
Or even better - let's mail them to all players so they can have everything they want easier.
Your sarcasm suggests that you don't think that the item grind (in its current state) is unreasonable. Would that be fair to say?

The item grind is fine. I prefer it to games with token systems, and it gives us something to do during content droughts. He's/She's just throwing a temper tantrum because he's/she's a giant pissbaby who can't properly express himself/herself.

If a pvp player wants them, they still don't have to PVE at all. They can just go buy it from a guild vendor. Anything other than weapons is obscenely inexpensive.
Rather than suggesting dungeon sets in AP boxes, how about making them unbound. That way PVP players can still get them, but by buying them off a PVE player... the same way PVE players buy the items they want from PVP players because for some silly reason, all PVE gear needs to be bind on pickup.
