I love the pve nerfs. why u should embrace it

Now all this will do is increase build diversity. Who cares about how many keys u wasted to get bis gear right? That divines gear you spent long grinding through keys to get? Who cares about divines? Keep getting Training and prosperous for your new bis gear from unduanted chests? They are the way to go as that's what zos did in shoving down our throats. All this does is create more build diversity! Who cares if you took your time to clear off content and had to jump additional hoops of bs rngto get that perfect monster set? Everyone should be put on an even playing field even fresh cp 160 players who havnt put to much time in their character.

It's all about skill in pve, who cares about all those keys/time you invested on getting his gear along with gold mats. Clearly two unrelated gameplay aspects should affect each other.

    I agree 100% with you. ZOS is making a BIG error nerfing, for example, proc sets that now crit.

    Why would there ever be build diversity in PVE? You figure out what's BiS for your class -- and run it, and everyone else runs it -- because it's about how much damage you can do. I really doubt that you'll be replacing the 2pc monster sets with two 1pcs.

    that is going to really depend on how much dps you can get via 1pc veli & 1pc kena (when combined, is about 250 wep damage for everything) versus the lowered dps output from just a monster set.
    The build makers like Alcast or Deltia can comment on that better then i, but i would expect it to be a very close margin.

    The sad part is that ZoS probably thought that putting out partial notes was a good thing...
    To bad they didn't realize that by only putting out part of the details, they only added fuel to the fire.

    perhaps this is ZOS's round-about-way of making other traits useful...after all, who will desperatley need Divines trait plus Thief Mundus once this update goes live

    You would be running Veli or Kraugh's either way so its not a 250 WD gain, but a 124 weapon damage gain. Which the proc's of both out easily out perform. This will only make some 5/5 combo's with VMA more competitive with the 5/3/2 with VMA.

    I'm tired of the mindset that PvE and PvP need to be separate. PvP balancing should be the basis for balancing in an MMO. People have seemed to have forgotten that the MMO genre was supposed to be a worldspace that your characters exist in, with conflict and resolution. It should never have become a carnival where you're shunted from one game to the next just to win your kewpie doll.

    It's pretty telling that right now the only MMO that's actually thriving and growing is EVE, which embraces it's player vs. player nature, with very little PvE expansion.

    I know right? Screw who ever enjoys one aspect in the game better than the other. Since the world revolves around my playstyle I feel my pvp qq should affect pve even tho it is unrelated and no one asked for it

    Have you hopped over onto the PvP forums over on WoW lately. That state of the game is hopelessly broken with no fix in sight.

    Funny that, how PvE QQ is exactly what ZoS has been catering too at the expense of the PvP crowd since release. The entire basis of this game was a AvAvA war in which the player had an opportunity to become the Emperor of Tamriel. The entire dev team was selected because of their history of work on PvP and AvAvA games like Dark Age of Camelot. But yeah, go on with that "but what about ME and how you are affecting ME attitude because all you care about is YOU" mindset.
