Elven sorceress vs. Redguard Sorceress

Bowdowntogreatness
I'm a little confused? I have a lvl 49 redguard sorceress and a lvl 6 high elf sorceress. Why is it that my eleven sorceress is taking down enemies and swarms with ease using magic. When it takes my redguard a lil longer. I understand that eleves are more equipped to use magic but, wouldn't the higher lvl character still kill the enemies a little quicker.

    correct.

battle leveling ups raw stats to compensate for lack of skillpoints.
once your redguard gets to cp 160 you'll notice she will be the one doing speed kills

Your redguard sorceress is it set to use stam abilities to make use of its racials?

The lower level you are, the higher the boost you get due to battle levelling. The close you are to max level, the less boost you get as you are getting to know how you play your character albeit the longer it takes to kill enemies.

As you level your High Elf character, you'll notice it'll get progressively weaker as the game will lessen the stat boost it gives you. This is ZOS's way of giving low level players a better chance against the enemy mobs while they learn how to play. And as you progress through the game, the game takes away your boost bit by bit, expecting you to compensate.

personally the boost at low levels is to strong and ends up being a crutch for slower learning

Partially correct because there are two separate battle leveling things at work: The one everyone under CP160 gets and the second one that you get only from levels 1-33 that goes down 3% per level until it's gone at level 34. That "lowbee" boost BTW is a boost to your damage and mitigation both and it's not reflected on your character stats on the inventory screen.

That second one was actually visible on the character screen on the PTS for the first couple of builds of 1T. They hid it after that and released that way but it's still very much there.

I tanked Cradle of Shadows on a level 13 hybrid sorc tank yesterday because of it :) It helped that I know the fights but still I was pretty buff.

Gear also affects battle leveling, the system favours you if you wear gear close to or at your level. If your lvl6 char is wearing all lvl6 gear but your lvl49 is wearing all lvl25-35 gear then the battle leveling system will favour your lvl6. If you were to kit both characters out in gear at their level you should find (passives aside) that they feel similar in strength. The battle leveling system basically forced players not at gear cap into a constant gear grind. My NA sorc has just hit lvl35 but is still wearing lvl19-22 elegant and my stats keep dropping everytime I level up, unless I put on new gear. So I'm now faced with the prospect of going back to auridon again to grind more elegant :(

Because us High Elves are the superior of all races in Tamriel. Everyone should obey us and kneel before us. If you don't, we will go all Mannimarco on you and unleash the wrath of the Destro Ult lol
