Back toward the beginning one could trade their rare fish to an alt and so, eventually, after much time and patience, achieve the Master Angler title on more than one character.
That isn't what I am asking for.
Rather I am asking that the achievement be switched from "On catch" to "On Consume" of an item that is a fish, not a trophy. If there is an easier way programatically to achieve the goal, then by all means - but that seems straightforward.
The goal being this: to raise quality of life for fishers in Tamriel, without dilluting the achievement and with little effort.
I and many folks like to utilize alts. We have multiple slots for a reason.
But few of those are very "social" characters. I've got a healer that groups. Most else don't much. I think thats pretty normal.
It is fun to level and play with alts though, ones that probably won't ever group much and certainly won't go through the months of fishing to achieve the title.
But when running about Tamriel, it would be standout nice to spot a particularly pleasing spot whilst on an alt - stop and fish, and know you can give any special fish to your main.
I know it probably seems like a worthless thing to those who have no interest in fishing, but its just not that big a heavy lift that I'm asking for, and would simply be nice to have work this way.
Doesn't dillute the achievement either. One fish, one tick off the achievement - same as now.
Anyway, would really appreciate considering it. I think fishing in this game is actually one of the overlooked things - so many truly beautiful vistas and scenes. Its a karma thing that I think brings peace of mind to folks. Things like that are what bring soul to a game. Worthwhile in my opinion doing the little things that facilitate those things, especially where it doesn't cost much.
Thanks!
