Well Keen eye is the passive that makes node glow, so i assumed it made fishing spots glow.

I'm addition to the fishing spot glow like with keep eye passive does with nodes, when you target the node it tells you what type of fish is there. This can be useful for some zones that have limited spots for fishing

I found last year it didn't really do anything at all. Although on PC I don't use addons at all and where fishing types are concerned I tend to know the difference in appearance and otherwise often use insects as they're the easiest bait to collect and if need be it only wastes one piece of other sorts of bait to find the right one for the particular hole.

Fishing, it makes the fishing holes more visible from a greater distance. The ones in coldharbour are especially hard to see, so it's the most useful there.

My fishing buddy and I went through a lot of it while getting that fishing achievement. After that.. I haven't needed to use it.
