Trying to maximize heavy lightning attack dk

So I've been using illambris with Way of fire to hilarious results.
So way of fire is pretty much identical to red mountain but with higher proc chance (20% vs 10%) and half the damage. The key to both sets is they proc off of weapon abilities, which just happens to include every skill within the destruction staff line. So elemental rage, elemental blockade and the heavy attack all have a chance to proc it. I find with the 2 sec cd of both sets it's better to go fire since I can't get red mountain proccing enough.

So essentially I just blast the area with wall/ash cloud, that procs the fire dmg, both illambris go off and im hitting for 3-6k ticks with the staff.

Was considered using 2 sets and 1pc of kena, still no maelstrom staff ;_;.
Tried sunderflame to some success, best results for keeping both illambris proc'd.
This is a pretty fun build I'm curious as to what other set ups people are using.

I tried elegant but if you can get the jewelry for sergeants it's much better. Sergeant's mail adds 1500 to each tick or 6k to each full heavy which is equivalent to about 3k spell damage on heavy attacks.

5 Sergeant, 5 infallible aether, vMA lightning and any charged staff on back bar.

5 aether, 5 undaunted infiltrator with DW swords on back bar, 2 illambris, vMA lightning on front bar.

Both require a vMA lightning staff for max results, but you can achieve decent deeps without it.
