Costume, Motif, and/or DLC

We need something along the lines of the Vigilants of Stendarr or the Dawnguard. Either as a Costume set, Motif, or DLC. Preferably all of the above
Not just a guild of mercenaries, covertly working for a deadra with good intentions

But an actual holy order that serves a higher purpose for alturistic reasons

The only holy order in-game that you interact with are 'bad guys', and the only order you can join is an unholy order.

The DLCs have been great, but it would be fun to be a part an order that actually chooses to serve something higher than themselves

Pretty sure the fighter guild serves this. I guess they could implement something since they already have a Templar class. Which in itself seem kinda funny for this game, but hey you know fantasy, templer vampires

A lot of people say that. But, the Fighter's Guild are simply mercenaries, who are paid by someone who has the higher intent. They are not a truly Holy Order motivated by a higher cause. They don't really have any kind of spiritual or moral foundation for their actions. They're just employed by someone who does.

At least the Dark Brotherhood actually has something it believes in (as twisted as it is).

We need some kind of truly 'good guy' order to belong to, and not just swords for hire that just so happen to be doing the right thing because someone pays them to.

What he's looking for is more like the cliche paladin of fairy tales and fantasy. A holy order of warriors tasked by one deity or another to go forth and rid the world of evil, protect the innocent, help kittens get out of trees, blah, blah, blah. He doesn't like that the only one in ESO takes the role of "the bad guy" and you can't join it anyway.
