Is there going to be an option to have a dwemer style home? Or is it only the be for the races currently in the game?because it would be cool to use the dwemer cogs you find as trash through the world in your homestead.

Only the races that are in the game unfortunately.

It is hinted at, but not confirmed.

The link at the bottom is an interview given at the release of homestead, but the relevant section is

"Are we going to see future homes styled in ways that aren’t defined by the playable races? (Ayleid and Daedric and Dwemer architecture is coming to mind!)."

"Pretty safe to say that will happen at some point"

You could always live in the Earth Forge. It has a Pressure Room III, too, a crafting station and a hot bath, with some sauna action, too.

This is actually a really good idea! I know there's a lot of bad ideas around an MMO's forum, you can't escape them, but every once in a while someone says something a bit clever. There's no reason why a dwemer installation couldn't be cleared out and used as a home, after all. I've done just that in single-player Elder Scrolls games.

And the zones that aren't related to the factions are getting non-racial homes, so I don't see why not. I imagine that this will probably come along with Vvardenfell. So that's what you're most likely looking forward to, I'd imagine.

They'll probably give us pocket realm housing too one day (realms of Oblivion), where we can rule over a whole weird area outside of the regular map.

Thanks for the compliment!! but I've got a dwemer style mage. It would be nice (rpg value) to give him a dwemer style home to live in to work on his alchemy and blacksmithing.

I also have a dwemer style home in skyrim myself.

I would very much like to see the addition of new furniture crafted in the form of all these motifs we have. To many motifs, not enough good crafted sets, to much effort to remake endgame gear. No transmog for gear

I can see them slowly shift crafting away from armor and more towards housing related things.

Does anyone remember when they datamine all those crafting related new items. Or at least the icons for them?

If someone had the link that would be great it was a long while since I saw it but I feel those were for housing crafting.
