Casuals and Auction House

I was wondering if for casuals "hardcore" players, there had been some improvements in Auction Houses...

The problem being if you cannot play enough due to any personal constraint you have (military, work, family...), you are being kicked out of all the best active guilds.
The few items you have the opportunity to put at the "not so active" auction house are very likely not to get acquired adding penalty to your existing penalties you incur to play the game.
As a casual "hardcore" PVPer or PVEer you get therefore less and less incentive to play since you just cannot keep up TWICE.

Could we please have a global non limited (500+) Auction House for those players with limited play time or are they just doomed and pushed out of this game ?

What you want is potentially already in the game. If you're interested you can start a trade guild that doesn't kick anyone out for inactivity. I'd guess there is probably a huge demand for it as well from more casual players. It's even possible that one already exists. I know plenty of trade guilds that would make inactivity exceptions if you let them know ahead of time that you might be away for a while for any particular reason.


If you're on PC/NA, you're welcome to join my guild. We are not a major trading guild at all, but we maintain a store in Evermore most weeks and I can make a note to not remove you for inactivity if you'd like.

Sadly no. Your ability to sell effectively still hinges on your belonging to one of the more popular and large trading guilds that will quickly dispose of players who take significant breaks from the game (i.e. Casuals).

I support your efforts but I'm not hopeful. Me and many many others have been asking for something similar to this for a long time now. The developers have been obstinate - a stubbornness that has cost them a lot of players I can promise you.

I've found most guild masters quite good if you take the time out to communicate your circumstances with them. Tell them you won't be active for a fortnight, month etc. Don't need to go into detail, but if they're unreasonable insofar that they can't appreciate people have more important stuff going on in their lives, then it's not someone I would want to be lining their in-game pockets with in-game gold in the first place.
