I've looked on the named items list but it doesn't show starter islands and it's only drops from bosses on the list.
Can anyone let me know which quests I need to do to get the sharpened trainee sword and reinforced heavy chest, thanks.

✭Follow the quest line for Stros M Kai. If i recall correctly, the Sword is actually the very first reward given. But you can check it detailed here; http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Online:Daggerfall_Covenant#Quests
But just go Stros M Kai and follow the questline.PC - EU
