Glitch or trolls?

Hi, I haven't done dungeons in a long while, so I am rather out of the loop, but today when I was queueing for dungeons, everytime I got grouped up, the leader would instantly disband the group leading to yet another 15 minute queueing penalty... needless to say after about two hours of trying, I gave up. So what I am asking, what is your experiences? Is this an annoying glitch I have encountered? Or is it the new troll hobby, to disband groups once they have a full set of players?

(I am on Xbox One, North America.)

What level/cp are you and what type of dungeon are you queuing for (normal/vet)? It's possible you are being kicked. Group finder leaders can't disband the party unless there is a bug.

Nearly level champ 400, I think it is something like 384, not sure without logging in.

Only queueing for normal dungeons. I've never yet done a vet dungeon, the sound of them scares me! Haha.

I am queueing only as a tank at present, I am fully equipped with reinforced heavy armor, sword and board, all all my specs, skills and champ points set to best be a tank... < but I assume all of that isn't actually visible to the host until I arrive at the dungeon which I never get as far to do, lol.

So it is looking like it is perhaps a glitch then, arghh.

I usually only get a group disband message if we queue as a group of 2 and get put in with another existing group of 2. The finder will disband one of the groups and put those members into the other group. On PS4 the group list does not always show up straight away, so you may think you are not in a group when you are.

I have been having issues when travelling while queued lately. While I am queued (solo), I continue doing stuff and then I'll suddenly notice I am no longer queued. If I go back into group finder it tells me I have queued too recently and I have to wait. I do not know if I got grouped and kicked/disbanded while travelling or if I was just kicked from the group finder.

The only time I think I have seen a disband option is if there are only two people in the group.

Yeah, I don't see why you'd be getting kicked, so sounds more like a group finder bug. Try reporting it with the in-game bug report (I think xbox has it... it's /bug on PC) to bring it to ZOS's attention, although from my own searches, this seems to have been a problem for months on xbox, so it seems to be a low-priority thing.

Also, try one of the easier vet dungeons (like Fungal Grotto I, Elden Hollow I, etc.), I think you'll find it not as intimidating as you initially thought.

It's due to ppl trying the following:

-If it's a normal dungeon, they're prob trying to get their other friend for random credit and kick all others
(Solution for ZOS - just give anyone who does a dungeon a daily reward regardless. Maybe add in a bonus for ransoms tho like a motif!!)

-If cause ur not X level yet.

(Solution for ZOS - stop showing character level and give each role undaunted skills, buffed to fulfill their roles while in the dungeon )

-if veteran, they may only want certain CP ranks

(Solution for ZOS - stop showing cp levels on others and give each player below cp160 major buffs not just being scaled)

-if it's a random dungeon...they may also keep kick the last person cause they want a specific daily

(Solution for ZOS - create a daily option in the activity finder and have the quest giver pop at the beginning of the dungeon vs in a town)

-just getting kicked not for any reason above.
(solution for ZOS - disable kicking players in randoms and consider some of the ideas above with this )

The problems are resolved when @ZOS_GinaBruno begin to address the many feedback articles to the devs who work on dungeon queues.

Optional suggestions above but if ur getting kicked immediately it's not much you can do to stop this. Only the devs can lessen or offset it with changes.

I used to only ever queue for randoms, but today for the first time I queued for specific dungeons.

I get this a lot on xbox too. CP 561. I think they tried to fix the bug where too many ppl would join a group and now it just automatically disbands the group when it happens.

Yes I get this sometimes on xbox too. If you're queuing via activity finder the leader cant disband the group
