Problems With Quest and Other Things in Dungeons

I'm writing this because there are a few problems in dungeons I think could easily be fixed. When your doing a random dungeon you have never done before there's usually a quest but you can never really enjoy the context of the quest because everyone is rushing through the dungeon, then you get to the end and everyone stops rushing you think you have a minute to actually listen to the quest dialog.... Tick tick tick everyone has left your group and your thrown out of the dungeon right in the middle of some interesting story. My only other problem is when someone dies in a dungeon they should glow or something so their body can be found easier, and no ones wondering around aimlessly in the middle of a boss fight to find a gray body on a gray floor. Everyone should post other problems they might find in dungeons and maybe we can get ZOS attention.

Yeah would be nice for it to be more obvious where the body is when someone dies, sometimes it is honestly really hard to find people. With the quest thing, I'm not sure how you would solve this problem.

Yes, I think finding the body is the bigger problem and easiest fixed. they could just make them glow blue or even glow yellow like so many other things in the game. I think on the quest part of it, if the auto kick waited until after you are out of the quest dialog that would be great. Then they could just add a way to recap the entire quest dialog in your journal, but honestly for the most part when I have let my group know it's my first run and i'd like to enjoy the quest they wait up... mostly. These problems just seem to simple but very annoying.

Yeah, the "let's speed through the dungeon" thing is more of a people thing than a quest design thing... though it is compounded by the fact that most people have eaten provisions before running a dungeon, and that timer is ticking down.

Some sort of "quest recap" system would be nice. It's not just group dungeon quests that tend to be sped through for the sake keeping up... public dungeons have the same issue if you want to stay with the zerg.

Best solution? Find a PvE guild that is friendly and willing to take dungeons slowly. After people get to know you, they're more likely to make allowances to help you enjoy the game more. :)
    Living vicariously through my characters.

    My Girls:
"If you were trapped in your house for, say, a year, how would you pass the time?"

Nephikah the Houseless, dunmer assassin: "I suppose I could use the break. I have a lot of business holdings now that need management."
Swum-Many-Waters, elderly argonian healer: "I think that I would enjoy writing a memoir."
Silh'ki, khajiit warrior-chef: "Would this one be able to go outside, to the nearby river? It's hard to fish without water!"
Peregrine Huntress, bosmer hunter: "Who is forcing me to stay inside, and where can I find them?"
Lorenyawe, altmer mechanist: "And why would I want to go outside in the first place? Too much to be done in the workshop."
Lorelai Magpie, breton master thief: "I'd go nuts. Lucky for me, I have a little experience sneaking out!"
Rasheda the Burning Heart, redguard knight: "I would continue my training to keep my skills sharp."
Hex-Eye Azabi, khajiit daedric priestess: "I suppose it would be lucky, then, that I built a shrine to Mephala in my backyard."
Yngva Stormhammer, nord bandit (reformed...ish): "I hate being inside even when I'm not forced to be. GET. ME. OUT."
Madam Argentia, vampire dunmer aristocrat: "I suppose it would be more of the same. I have a rather... contentious relationship with the sun."
Mazie gra-Bolga, orc scout: "Uh... I'd have to house train my bear..."
Felicia the Wanderer, imperial witch-for-hire: "What Lorelai said."
Calico Jaka-dra, retired khajiit pirate: "This one would like a rest from her grand adventures. Her jewel shop runs out of stock!"
Shimmerbeam, blind altmer psijic: "Provided that I am confined to Artaeum, I do not think I will want for things to occupy my time."
Shauna Blackfire, redguard necromancer: "Sounds like paradise. I hate people."
Kirniel the Undying, cursed bosmer warrior: "I would feel useless, not being able to fight."
Echoes-from-Dragons, argonian who thinks she's a dragon: "All the better to count my hoard!"

Since I have updated to a much better pc, I have noticed that there is a rez icon over a dead body. Also the chat bubbles do help. Still wished that pug group dungeon running wasn't so rushed, but that is just the culture of an MMO I guess.

A simple fix for this would be to allow 1 person to remain in the dungeon, even if everyone else left.

I'm certainly guilty of rushing through dungeons where I don't care about the dropped sets. If I do care about set drops then I can either slow down the group as I search for treasure chests or plan on only finding the easy to spot chests. What would be great is if I could speed through the dungeon, then, after everyone left, I could go back and take my time searching for hidden chests, heavy sacks and provisioning items.

It's also been my experience that if you have a mic and say "hey, I'm doing this for the first time can we go a little slower?" then most players will happily slow down... they'll even give you some tips
