Vet CoS - Loading Screens During Velidreth Fight

Issue: Loading screens when being teleported to the maze portion of the Velidreth fight.

More loading screens today during the pledge, would be lovely if this was addressed.

Good grief. My guild has done this fight lots of times and none of us have ever had this problem - not even the player whose laptop is barely better than a potato! It might be worth reporting your full graphics settings (all of them, including particle effects and shadows) along with your system configuration. Could be a bug related to having one of those settings on high.

As much as I do appreciate the response Baratron, this is not a graphics issue. This usually happens with the server latency, more so after a patch. When half the group gets a loading screen (not just myself) while being teleported to the maze it usually ends in either a wipe or a failed no death run.

That being said anyone whom has ever ran Vet CoS with me knows I am quite familiar with that dungeon, I have ran it many times. The only reason I have updated this again was to bring to light a recurring issue for ZOS to look into.

That being said, there was another issue caused by said loading screen. My corpse was able to be rezzed from the central room where one fights Velidreth, when rezzed I appeared in the maze and had to run out. This ended up causing an invulnerability bug where I could not be hit by attacks nor attack anything until all of the group members would die. Reloading did not fix the issue, to resolve this I had to log out.

Hmm. You didn't mention that it was multiple people in the group getting the loading screens. That's important information.

Weird, though. I play on PC-NA from the UK with friends from the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, and none of us have ever had to wait through a loading screen when teleporting into the catacombs.

Do you have similar problems in Selene's Web when you fall through the web? Possibly not because that isn't a teleport, but again it would be useful to know.

I wonder whether it's the actual ZOS server playing up, or a "hole" in the Internet between you and the server. @lordrichter suggested a way of testing your connectivity to the server in another post in this forum. I'm on my phone so copying and pasting is difficult, but you should be able to find it easily.
