Arch mage set + Channeled heavy attack

The Arch-mage set says:

(5 items) When you deal damage with a fully-charged Heavy Attacks, you restore 834 Magicka.

So if you are using a lightning or restoration staff heavy attack, does this proc on the final tick only or also on other ticks?
Anybody has tested this?

Yep, only last tick. Would've been a great sustain set otherwise. Weird that all other buffs, such as sergeants mail or aether buff every tick with the same description, and this doesn't.

if you're using channeled heavy attacks, generally your sustain should be nice anyway. I put a bunch in Tenacity to further buff the return.
